HockingRentals.com ("we," "us," "our") is operated by Scout Theory. This policy describes what information we collect when you use the site, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have.
When you visit HockingRentals.com, we collect limited information automatically, including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL, and the approximate time you spent on the site. We use this information to understand how visitors use the site and to improve the content.
If you contact us via email or a form, we receive the information you voluntarily provide — typically your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this only to respond to your inquiry.
We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and basic site functionality. You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Lead forms collect only the information you choose to submit.
Traveler lead forms may collect dates, group size, budget, lodging preferences, name, email, phone number, and notes. We may share a submitted traveler request with up to three participating Hocking Hills lodging operators so they can respond if the trip appears to fit. Property-owner forms collect the business and contact details you voluntarily provide. Form submissions are processed through Google Sheets via Google Apps Script on our behalf.
Participating lodging businesses may pay us for qualified leads, featured placement, monthly partnerships, or hybrid arrangements. We do not guarantee that a request will receive a response, that a property will be available, or that quoted terms will be acceptable.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export personal information we hold about you. To make any of these requests, email us at andy@scotheo.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
HockingRentals.com is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
